What is H Natural?

H Natural is Steve Hogarth's intimate solo show, offering a rare chance to experience one of progressive rock's most distinctive voices up close.

Best known as the frontman and lyricist of Marillion for more than three decades, Steve steps away from the full band to present an evening that is completely his own. Armed with little more than a piano and a microphone, he combines music, storytelling and conversation in a performance that unfolds naturally with the audience.

No two H Natural shows are ever the same. There is no setlist. Each performance develops in the moment, with Steve following wherever the evening leads. Along the way, he shares stories from his life and career, reflects on the music that has shaped him, reads from his diaries, and performs songs spanning his career with Marillion, his solo work and earlier projects.

You'll also hear beautifully reimagined covers from artists who have inspired him over the years, with past performances featuring songs by Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Kate Bush, ABBA, Kraftwerk and Rufus Wainwright.
